Subject: anjuta: app wizard cannot create projects
Package: anjuta
Version: 1.2.2-9
Severity: normal
Generating projects does not seem to work for me.
I tried to set up new projects with the application
wizards, but it did not work.
After finishing the wizard, I saw the first warning message
"I am going to run 'configure' with no arguments".
The last error message in the log pane is:
"configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp/" fails sanity check."
(Did not find config.log which should contain more infos)
I cannot give the other messages here, as the log pane does
not allow me to copy them.
Then, I get an error message window:
"FEHLER: The Project was not successfully auto generated.
Please run autogen.sh manually."
I tried this for three different configurations:
1. Generic/terminal based project, C++, executable, w/o gettext support
2. GNOME 2 program, C
3. gnomemm2.0 program, C++
In (3), there are also warnings about glade being not present.
"Warning: Cannot generate c/c++ source code.
It is because either glade ...
Your generated project will still be fine, though."
I was not sure whether I should set the severity
to "important", as Anjuta is not usable at all for
me ATM (btw, it was the first time I tried it).
Best regardsm
Zeno
