It's a gecko feature, but it is also a regression in epiphany. It did always use to work. (If you like, there are two things here then. First, plugins should work at all--that's the important bug. And second, there is a normal priority bug, that about:plugins doesn't work, and there is no other way to get the same information.)
Perhaps the switch to Webkit is foolish, but that's a different order of problem. :) On Fri, 2009-10-16 at 23:31 +0200, Sven Arvidsson wrote: > On Tue, 2009-10-13 at 19:23 -0700, Thomas Bushnell BSG wrote: > > In the new epiphany browser, my existing java and realplayer plugins stop > > working. > > Indeed, "about:plugins" shows nothing at all. > > At least for Java, I think this is a general problem with Webkit GTK: > https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24912 > > Also, about:plugins is a Gecko-only feature, isn't it? > > -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
