I can reproduce this bug in a current pbuilder chroot on amd64: it gives the same "irrefutable pattern" error message as in the original report. I suspect that either haskell-testpack is missing a Build-Depends that's installed on just about any user system, or maybe hugs or something is missing a Depends. -- Daniel Schepler
