Package: wfinnish Version: 0.7-17.2 Severity: normal Hi,
For some reason, most lines in /usr/share/dict/finnish now end with $\. I'm not really sure about this, but I have always assumed the files in /usr/share/dict are supposed to have plain words, one per line. Also the file starts with an empty line. This might be normal (also /usr/share/dict/american-english does), although I can't think of a good reason for that. This is how /usr/share/dict/finnish now starts: ------------------------------------------------------------ Aabelin aakkonen aakkoseen aakkosekseen$\ aakkoseksemme$\ aakkosekseni$\ aakkoseksenne$\ aakkoseksensa$\ aakkoseksesi$\ aakkoseksi$\ aakkosella$\ aakkosellaan$\ aakkosellamme$\ aakkosellani$\ aakkosellanne$\ aakkosellansa$\ ------------------------------------------------------------ Sami -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages wfinnish depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.27 Debian configuration management sy ii dictionaries-common 1.3.2 Common utilities for spelling dict wfinnish recommends no packages. wfinnish suggests no packages. -- debconf information: shared/packages-wordlist: wfinnish/languages: suomi (Finnish)
