After an apt upgrade, cairo-dock now hangs gnome at start up: After logging in, the gnome desktop starts loading but it hangs after displaying the gnome panel (but no icons on it), no desktop image is loaded either. It's not even possible to switch to a different console using ctrl+alt+f1 and the only way to exit is to hard reset the computer. Gnome loads properly if I disable cairo-dock from the startup applications list. In this case, once Gnome has done loading, I can manually run cairo-dock from the terminal without problems. The command used to start cairo-dock (both manually and in the startup applications list) is: /usr/bin/cairo-dock -o --keep-above Compiz is installed but not used.
