Coin, You're right, it cannot work at all.
Currently, ant is called only one time per target (build, check, install, clean), and the class does not handle packages where multiple ant calls are needed. Thus, the ANT_ARGS_<package> variables will never work.
I don't really know what is the best way to solve this problem. Maybe we should introduce an optional variable to trigger multi-ant-calls, or even list the packages names to call ant with, so we don't break current behavior. Could you please explain how you wish to have multi-ant calls in your package ?
