Package: postgresql-8.0
Version: 8.0.3-10
Severity: normal

Hi,

if using listen_address = "*" (which is the default), postgresql-8.0
tries to create ipv6 sockets. I have no idea why, especially as there
are (to my knowledge) not ipv6 addresses configured on my network
interfaces and the kernel doesn't have ipv6 support.
