Package: git-buildpackage Version: 0.4.58 Severity: wishlist Hi Guido, you've probably noticed the very cool script proposed by Raphael Hertzog on planet these days (http://www.ouaza.com/wp/2009/10/08/3-way-merge-of-debian-changelog-files/).
Instead of having it in a separate package, I consider that git-buildpackage would be the most appropriate place where to have such a script packaged for Debian. What do you think? TIA, Cheers. PS any news about including the git packaging helper coming from the Debian OCaml Maintainers? We are ready to improve them to better suite your need, if you feel there's the need to. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages git-buildpackage depends on: ii devscripts 2.10.55 scripts to make the life of a Debi ii git-core 1:1.6.4.3-1 fast, scalable, distributed revisi ii python 2.5.4-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-dateutil 1.4.1-3 powerful extensions to the standar ii python-support 1.0.4 automated rebuilding support for P Versions of packages git-buildpackage recommends: ii pristine-tar 1.00 regenerate pristine tarballs Versions of packages git-buildpackage suggests: pn git-load-dirs <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
