Package: emacs Version: 23.1+1-4 Severity: important Hello,
I'm setting the bug severity as Important (though to me it's Grave because I cannot use my favorite editor at all) because I think the problem is not in emacs but in some other part of the system (otherwise this bug would have been filled in a long time ago). I'd appreciate some help in diagnosing it, though. The symptoms: a...@lacapelle:~$ emacs Wrong type argument: keymapp, ("DEAD" . 17614028) a...@lacapelle:~$ And that's it. No core dump, nothing else.
