it's explained after "thanks" line (sorry forgot to Cc: the bug) from http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=7;bug=549801: | python-distutils.mk.in, line 150 has to be changed to use default | Python version if it's available in requested versions otherwise | packages that use `pyversions -d` in debian/rules will fail.
