Package: eterm
Version: 0.9.5-2
Severity: minor

After cleaning my system (using "aptitude markauto") this weekend, I am
encountering the same problem as in bug #112919, but in my case I'm not using a
remote X session.

aschur...@neminis:~$ Eterm
Eterm: Error: Unable to load font
"-misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed--13-*-*-*-c-*-iso10646-1". Falling back on
"k14"
Eterm: FATAL: Couldn't load the fallback font either. Giving up.
aschur...@neminis:~$ Eterm -M shine
Eterm: Error: Unable to load font "shine". Falling back on "k14"
Eterm: FATAL: Couldn't load the fallback font either. Giving up.
aschur...@neminis:~$ Eterm -M fixed
[works]

One of the packages removed (by aptitude) was xfonts-base. After reinstalling
it and restarting X, Eterm works again. Seems to me that Eterm should have a
dependency on the package providing the k14 font (xfonts-base), or at least
suggest it; apparently no other package, not even xerver-xorg, seems to depend
on it or recommend it:
