Here is a common occurrence:
- I click on the wicd applet in the panel to see the networks I can use.
- I do something there and when I'm done I iconify the window.
- a while later I want to change something to my wireless connection,
so I click on the wicd applet again.
- at this point apparently nothing happens. In reality, what happened
is that the iconified window was closed (so it disappeared from my list
of windows).
- I insist and click again on the applet.
- this time again, apparently nothing happens, tho in reality what happened
is that the window I'd like to see did "appear", but in an iconified state,
so it didn't get displayed, but only added to my list of windows.
I think it would be better for wicd's applet to consider that when I
click it and the window is iconified (i.e. step 3&4), it should
deiconify the window rather than close it.
Also, when I click it in step 5&6 (i.e. I click on the applet and the window
is closed), it should also not only "open" the window but also make it
gets deiconified in case its state is "iconified".
