Found a workaround that appears to be portable without having to hack up
any of the system files.
Tested on autoconf 1.61, 2.62, 2.63 and libltdl 3 and 7.
Defining:
top_build_prefix=${ac_top_build_prefix}
AC_SUBST(top_build_prefix)
before using AC_LTDL_CONVENIENCE() causes automake to add the right path
on libltdlc.la again.
Would be nice if one of the related tools could do this automatically
though.
