Therefore it would appear as if the attributes appear at a later stage. If this is a kernel/udev bug I am now unsure. However, would updating the match criterion for the rule to include the default value of an attribute ATTR{press_to_select}=="1" for example delay the firing of the rule until the attributes emerged?
