Package: bacula-fd Version: 3.0.2-3 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch
The bacula 3.x releases have a new plugin architecture that allows extra functionality to be added easily [1]. Bacula ships with an example bpipe plugin to be used with the file daemon that allows data to be read straight from a program's STDOUT and written to it's STDIN when running backups and restores. This is compiled by default and it would be a useful thing to include in the bacula-fd package. A patch to do so is attached. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-xen-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash
