Package: bacula-fd
Version: 3.0.2-3
Severity: wishlist
Tags: patch

The bacula 3.x releases have a new plugin architecture that allows extra
functionality to be added easily [1]. Bacula ships with an example bpipe
plugin to be used with the file daemon that allows data to be read
straight from a program's STDOUT and written to it's STDIN when running
backups and restores. This is compiled by default and it would be a
useful thing to include in the bacula-fd package.

A patch to do so is attached.
