While it's great to make it available at the standard path /debian/, it
breaks systems configured with the previous path.

Could you please make *both* path operationnal ?

You may build ISOs from your packages mirror using jigdo, in order to
save bandwidth: http://www.debian.org/CD/mirroring/#jigdomirror

Volatile seems to be mirrored with all arch (see
http://ftp.bme.hu/debian-volatile/dists/stable/volatile/)
Unless you keep amd64 and i86 as for the stadnard archive, it will be
recorded as providing all arches.
