Package: pidgin-facebookchat Version: 1.60-1.1 Severity: normal Hi,
the current version of pidgin-facebookchat (1.60) in Debian has some annoying bugs, especially it has a problem with 64bit UIDs on Facebook which makes the use very uncomfortable. Version 1.61 adresses this issue and more: Version 1.61 * An option to disable friends lists/groups in advanced account settings * Fixes for 64-bit UID's so no more messages from people/yourself being in wrong window (thanks to Evan Schoenberg) * Now requires json-glib version 0.7.6 or later (included in the Windows installer) * Uses less memory after reconnecting a few times (thanks to Jan Kaluza) * Fix for notifications not showing for some people * Fix for buddies being added over and over to the same group * Fix for every message you send being received back to yourself * Regression: buddy status messages no longer show due to a change from Facebook Thanks, Adrian -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages pidgin-facebookchat depends on: ii libc6 2.9-25 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libjson-glib-1.0-0 0.6.2-3 GLib JSON manipulation library ii libpurple0 2.6.2-1 multi-protocol instant messaging l ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-15 compression library - runtime pidgin-facebookchat recommends no packages. pidgin-facebookchat suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
