Package: pdftk
Version: 1.41+dfsg-1
Severity: minor

Under UTF-8 locales, if the update_info data file contains something
like

InfoKey: Author
InfoValue: Vincent Lefèvre

encoded in ISO-8859-1 (thus the data are invalid in UTF-8), then

  pdftk file.pdf update_info in.info output out.pdf

silently discards the Author field. Instead, it should output a clear
error message.
