Package: nbd-client Version: 1:2.9.13-4 Severity: normal
I have nbd-client installed for occasional use with qemu and qcow2 images and don't have any nbd devices mounted at boot or dismounted a shutdown. The init scripts for nbd-client seem fooled by this as on startup there is a error message about a blank device name and of shutdown I get a countdown timer and message saying that some nbd devices could not be unmounted and that I migh lose data even when I know no devices are mounted. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31-ecrins (SMP w/3 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages nbd-client depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.27 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.9-25 GNU C Library: Shared libraries nbd-client recommends no packages. nbd-client suggests no packages. -- debconf information: * nbd-client/killall: false nbd-client/device: nbd-client/host: nbd-client/port: nbd-client/type: raw nbd-client/number: 0 nbd-client/no-auto-config: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
