Package: pure-ftpd-mysql Version: 1.0.19-4 When i intalled the package pure-ftpd-mysql, there is an error on the first connection (and others) :

Can't exec "/usr/sbin/pure-ftpd": No such file or directory at /usr/sbin/pure-ftpd-wrapper line 174. ftp> quit debian# I just add a symbolic link to pure-ftpd, because pure-ftpd-wrapper need it to launch a binary named pure-ftpd. debian# ln -s /usr/sbin/pure-ftpd-mysql /usr/sbin/pure-ftpd And after that, it works perfectly : debian# ftp localhost Connected to itx. 220---------- Welcome to Pure-FTPd [privsep] [TLS] ---------- 220-You are user number 1 of 50 allowed. 220-Local time is now 16:31. Server port: 21. 220-This is a private system - No anonymous login 220-IPv6 connections are also welcome on this server. 220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity. Name (localhost:root): This is an old bug, but not resolved (discovered by my team 3, or 4 months ago). This problem appears in all hardware systems we tested. Tested with kernel : 2.6.8-1-386 and many other 2.6.x. Shared C library : libc-2.3.2.so.
