'When X.org is installed' is the crucial phrase here. dx still installs fine even in unstable because xlibmesa-glu is still in the archive. It's incompatible with xorg's libglu package, though. Incidenctially, I've fixed this and further issues in a new version uploaded today that should appear on a mirror near you in a few hours, but the severity of this bug was way overrated.
