Package: gnome-power-manager Version: 2.26.3-1 Severity: normal It didn't start in May for me, but for a couple of weeks now, g-p-m is suspending twice in a row. By chance I've seen that it indeed invokes pm-suspend twice (pulseaudio was hanging, so my pulseaudio-suspend script in sleep.d was timing out, thus I was able to run 'pgrep -fl suspend' while the suspend was in progress).
I'm not sure it doesn't happen via the menu also. I think I've tried using the g-p-m battery icon in the tray to suspend and I believe it also suspended twice in a row. I believe I had seen this before when g-p-m thought the suspend had failed and it tried again or maybe tried a different method of doing a suspend. Or maybe this is due to a left-over config file? My system is unstable + a lot gnome-related from experimental. On July 28th, I upgraded from 2.24.4-3 to 2.26.3-1, which also included devicekit-power. I believe since then I've been seeing the twice-in-a-row suspending. -- Package-specific info: Distro version: squeeze/sid Kernel version: 2.6.30-1-686 g-p-m version: 2.26.3 HAL version: 0.5.13 System manufacturer: missing System version: missing System product: missing AC adapter present: yes Battery present: yes Laptop panel present: yes CPU scaling present: yes Battery Information: battery.charge_level.current = 44721 (0xaeb1) (int) battery.charge_level.design = 52170 (0xcbca) (int) battery.charge_level.last_full = 44721 (0xaeb1) (int) battery.charge_level.percentage = 100 (0x64) (int) battery.charge_level.rate = 11 (0xb) (int) battery.is_rechargeable = true (bool) battery.model = 'DELL CC1546' (string) battery.present = true (bool) battery.rechargeable.is_charging = false (bool) battery.rechargeable.is_discharging = false (bool) battery.reporting.current = 4700 (0x125c) (int) battery.reporting.design = 4700 (0x125c) (int) battery.reporting.last_full = 4029 (0xfbd) (int) battery.reporting.rate = 1 (0x1) (int) battery.reporting.technology = 'Li-ion' (string) battery.reporting.unit = 'mAh' (string) battery.serial = '1221' (string) battery.technology = 'lithium-ion' (string) battery.type = 'primary' (string) battery.vendor = 'Panasonic' (string) battery.voltage.current = 12552 (0x3108) (int) battery.voltage.design = 11100 (0x2b5c) (int) battery.voltage.unit = 'mV' (string) GNOME Power Manager Process Information: erich 24579 0.0 0.8 37832 9204 ?
