I was surprised to find updatedb hanging on some network paths that I was sure I had excluded. It looks like during some upgrade, updatedb.conf got obsoleted by updatedb.findutils.cron.local. Bug#459570 implies that it should have been migrated, but that didn't seem to happen for me. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages locate depends on: ii findutils 4.4.2-1 utilities for finding files--find, ii libc6 2.9-26 GNU C Library: Shared libraries locate recommends no packages. locate suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
