This bug was confirmed for 6.2.5/6.2.6-pre4 and fixed in upstream SVN - while the documentation stated tracepolls were a server option, it was implemented as user option - EXCEPT in the options parser.
BTW, the bug is currently falsely marked as "not applicable to this version" in the BTS. The implementation in SVN, post 6.2.6-pre4, was changed so that it matches the existing documentation.
