Package: geany
Version: 0.18-1
Severity: important

There's something badly wrong with Geany's display of Hebrew characters. Short
selections are often (usually?) displayed correctly, but longer ones get
garbled. Geany seems to be overwriting one line with another, resulting in
gibberish. Example:

http://www.lynucs.org/index.php?screen_id=18673869314ab8d93d6e3f1&p=screen

The above is geany's corrupted display of the highlighted text from this page,
copied and pasted into geany:

http://www.lynucs.org/index.php?screen_id=6342170034ab8d9f0806f7&p=screen

I think that I've had other problems with the display of Hebrew characters, but
here's one clear-cut example.
