Package: thinkfan
Version: 0.5.0.1-1
Severity: normal

To make thinkfan usable on thinkpads, it requires thinkpad_acpi module to be
loaded with fan_control=1. Otherwise daemon thinkfan's actions have no
effect.

I guess it better be mentioned in /etc/defaults/thinkfan, since that is
where any user would need to look into while enabling the daemon... Or describe
in README.Debian and reference that documention in /etc/defaults/thinkfan.

P.S. To provide options to thinkpad_acpi, use

options thinkpad_acpi fan_control=1

in file like

/etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad_acpi.conf

Thanks in a advance
