Package: apt-listbugs
Version: 0.1.0
Severity: normal

Hi,

I was receiveing errors by mail so I tried to run the script manualy and the
behaviour is consistant :

$ sudo /etc/cron.daily/apt-listbugs
/usr/share/apt-listbugs/aptcleanup:57: private method `split' called for
nil:NilClass (NoMethodError)
    from /usr/share/apt-listbugs/aptcleanup:50:in `each'
    from /usr/share/apt-listbugs/aptcleanup:50

$ cat /etc/apt/preferences

Explanation: Pinned by apt-listbugs at Tue Sep 15 23:16:15 +0200 2009
Explanation: #546547: bash: Bash 4.0-5 fails to install
Package: bash
Pin: version 4.0-4
Pin-Priority: 1000

My best guess is that this is failing because of my french locale, because
apt-listbugs is trying to match 'Candidate:' whereas apt-cache output uses
'Candidat :'. A possible fix would be to revert apt-listbugs to LANG=C.

Feel free to ask for more info.

Alex
