I did something quite stupid. I ran ftpsync as root for some reason and,
as a consequence, several files were updated under that user, in despite
that ftpsync is normally run under the archive user (called
"debian")...... :-[
I checked today for the last run and all is back to normal......I'll
have the server to mail me the trace file stats each day.
