Package: gnome-panel Version: 2.26.3-1 Severity: normal Logging in recently I found that in my panel the icon from GNOME Terminal was missing (which I have added some time ago).
I tried to add it via Add Launcher ... -> Application Launcher but there the entry for GNOME Terminal couldn't be found, strange. Then I added it via Add Launcher ... -> Custom Application Launcher I typed in GNOME Terminal gnome-terminal when I had finished typing "gnome-terminal" into the command entry box the icon changed automatically, and clicking ok the *OLD* terminal icon re-appeared, and at the same time the new one, so I have to option to either have two terminal icons or none. After adding it I checked into .gnome2/panel2.d/default/launchers and found: gnome-terminal.desktop with the contents: #!/usr/bin/env xdg-open [Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 Version=1.0 Type=Application Terminal=false Icon[en_US]=gnome-terminal Name[en_US]=GNOME Terminal Exec=gnome-terminal Name=GNOME Terminal Icon=gnome-terminal After that I logged out and re-logged in, and still there are two icons, although only one launcher. So can someone explain that behaviour?
