Package: gvfs-backends Version: 1.2.2-2 Severity: normal
If 2 users are logged in, using gnome switch-user from the screen saver, 2 copies of /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor are running. When I plug in a camera, both try to spawn a gphoto2, which get confused because one can't grab a lock. Neither works correctly at that point, and a confusing error is presented to the user. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gvfs-backends depends on: ii gvfs 1.2.2-2 userspace virtual filesystem - ser ii libarchive1 2.6.2-1 Single library to read/write tar, ii libavahi-cli 0.6.25-1 Avahi client library ii libavahi-com 0.6.25-1 Avahi common library ii libavahi-gli 0.6.25-1 Avahi glib integration library ii libc6 2.9-23 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcdio-cdda 0.78.2+dfsg1-3 library to read and control digita ii libcdio-para 0.78.2+dfsg1-3 library to read digital audio CDs ii libcdio7 0.78.2+dfsg1-3 library to read and control CD-ROM ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.16-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libgconf2-4 2.26.2-3 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglib2.0-0 2.20.1-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome-key 2.26.1-1 GNOME keyring services library ii libgphoto2-2 2.4.6-1 gphoto2 digital camera library ii libgphoto2-p 2.4.6-1 gphoto2 digital camera port librar ii libhal1 0.5.12~git20090406.46dc48-2 Hardware Abstraction Layer - share ii libsmbclient 2:3.3.4-1 shared library for communication w ii libsoup-gnom 2.27.4-1 an HTTP library implementation in ii libsoup2.4-1 2.27.4-1 an HTTP library implementation in ii libxml2 2.7.3.dfsg-2+b1 GNOME XML library gvfs-backends recommends no packages. gvfs-backends suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
