Hi, I had presumably the same issue with my laptop (I did not really investigate it).
I have a LVM on LUKS setup on my laptop and after some upgrades a couple days ago I did not get the passphrase prompt with the newly generated initrd. After applying the patch and regenerating the initrd the passphrase prompt presents itself again. So the patch is working for me. Greetings Arjan
