OK, this wasn't clear. The last time I upgraded librrds-perl was
on 2009-06-17, and I didn't see any problem at this time. But I've
just noticed that the processes that used librrds-perl were not
restarted until the next reboot, which occurred on 2009-08-14.
And indeed I started to get problems slightly after this date.
