If you start qutecom before connecting to the network, you will get the login window with the error that it was unable to login. You can wait to be connected and than click login (without actually restarting it). Is that what happens also to you? If I understand correctly, you would like qutecom not to complain if the network is not available and keep trying to contact the SIP server?
