Package: signing-party Version: 1.1.1-1 Severity: normal
I have a ~/.signature that contains UTF-8 text. gpg-mailkeys uses this directly with a Content-Type of "text/plain; charset=us-ascii" and Content-Transfer-Encoding of "quoted-printable". I would expect the Content-Type to be set according to locale, and the text to be encoded with the quoted-printable encoding. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (90, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages signing-party depends on: ii gnupg 1.4.9-4 GNU privacy guard - a free PGP rep ii libc6 2.9-25 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libclass-methodmaker-perl 2.15-2 Perl module for creating generic m ii libgnupg-interface-perl 0.36-1 Perl interface to GnuPG ii libmailtools-perl 2.04-1 Manipulate email in perl programs ii libmime-tools-perl 5.427-2 Perl5 modules for MIME-compliant m ii libterm-readkey-perl 2.30-4 A perl module for simple terminal ii libtext-template-perl 1.45-1 Text::Template perl module ii perl 5.10.0-25 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction Versions of packages signing-party recommends: ii dialog 1.1-20080819-1 Displays user-friendly dialog boxe ii exim4 4.69-11 metapackage to ease Exim MTA (v4) ii exim4-daemon-light [mail- 4.69-11+b1 lightweight Exim MTA (v4) daemon ii libgd-gd2-perl 1:2.39-2 Perl module wrapper for libgd - gd ii libpaper-utils 1.1.23+nmu1 library for handling paper charact ii libtext-iconv-perl 1.7-2 converts between character sets in ii recode 3.6-15 Character set conversion utility ii whiptail 0.52.10-4 Displays user-friendly dialog boxe Versions of packages signing-party suggests: ii imagemagick 7:6.5.1.0-1.1 image manipulation programs ii mutt 1.5.20-2 text-based mailreader supporting M ii wipe 0.21-9 Secure file deletion -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
