Not a big deal, but this way it throws a sensible error message; otherwise it looks that xlock is the only option (the error message now is xlock: no such file or directory) > I'm not really sure I want to recommend xtrlock usage considering it's > not really intended to hide the screen. It's the last fallback option anyway, so the alternative is leaving the screen unlocked... of course there's no need of a package dependency, people will have to willingly install it, so they will be conscious of it shortcomings. The best solution would be to have it configurable, but I think it's overkill - it's just locking the screen, every available program that does it should be ok.
