Is it possible to make uupdate recognize a tilde in the package version, please? For example: $ uupdate ../package_3.1\~beta.orig.tar.gz uupdate: new version number not recognized from given filename Please run uupdate with the -v option I know that I can use the "-v" option but would be good if it could understand (if possible) that ~beta, ~rc, etc, are valid version numbers.
