Package: libgimp2.0-dev
Version: 2.6.7-1
Severity: normal

In gimp 2.6 gimptool-2.0 was reimplemented as a binary rather than the
script that was used (in unix) before. It seems that one of the features
lost on the transition was support for using DESTDIR from the environment,
if set.

This seems to cause build issues to two GIMP plugins packages:
* #518745: cbmplugs fails to build (partial reason)
* #544497: gimp-resynthesizer rebuilds as an empty package as installing of
  the files silently fails.

A somewhat similar issue:
* #537019: gimp-cdraw fails to build as it used gimptool --build-strip ,
  which no longer exists. --build seems to do the job there, though.

I did not set a priority for that as I'm not sure if DESTDIR should be
supported. If not: the man page should, at least, be updated accordingly.
