Confirmed. The desktop configuration defaults to US English keyboard and minimal vga/svga when tested with the current stable 5.0.2 and 5.0.2a businesscard installers to install the standard gnome and kde versions using both simple and "expert" installation on two different computers. The file /etc/X11/xorg.conf is created but is empty, and is not changed using "dpkg-reconfigure xorg.conf" The standard text console is configured to en-GB as requested.
