As I said in the original bug report, this feature was present in old versions of audacious (1.3.2-4 for instance). As a consequence, I am not sure that this should be considered as a feature request: I think I reported a regression (or, at least, something that I personally see as a regression)... Anyway, I hope that other people agree with me that having this feature would be nice. I also hope that it's not too complicated to (re-)implement it...
