Of course, this is completely "Use at your own risk" and all the rest of that business. Unpack the .tar.gz under /opt; you should get a folder /opt/audacious with four more folders inside it (bin include lib share). Then do: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/audacious/lib /opt/audacious/bin/audacious If all goes well, Audacious will pop up happily and show your Russian filenames without the percent encoding.
