The only failure message it should display is when the collector is run (e.g. 
booted with "profile") but the running kernel wasn't built with 
CONFIG_AUDIT=y, which is required by the collector.

That needs to be updated, it is fairly safe now; it wouldn't have been made 
the default if it wasn't safe. And I must say that that warning was overly 
exaggerated, at worst you would have to boot with init=/bin/$SHEL and 
manually run the init scripts to get a RW / and then fix the ordering.
