Hi, To make gnupg(2) really quiet, you usually need --batch and --no-tty. The --quiet option is described as "Try to be as quiet as possible." This already implies, that you will still get some output. So "too noisy" does not really describe a bug here. To avoid any output, use the --no-tty switch.
