Package: ppp Version: 2.4.4rel-10.1 Severity: normal I want to run a PPPoE client on a server that also runs a PPTP daemon (poptop). For firewalling reasons, I need to rename the ppp interface used by the PPPoE connection so it doesn't match ppp+ which is used for matching the PPTP connections. However, when using udev to rename the interface, pppd then can't find the interface any more and dies.
