Package: iftop
Version: 0.17-14
Severity: normal

I run iftop with the following command /usr/sbin/iftop -i ppp0 -B -p inside a
screen session
to output information on a display 24/H to users. However the ppp0 interfaces
sometimes goes
down and automaticly up again. This is normal in since its a mobile interface
depending on
signal strength. However iftop does not check changes to the interfaces and
will just hang
and stop displaying any traffic. I can repeat this behavior very easily.

Could this please be fixed so I can use iftop for 24/H displaying. (monitoring
is done, with
other tools)

Thanks in advance,

Jelle de Jong
