Package: debian-installer Version: squeeze Followup-For: Bug #542448
I have tried the amd64 2009/08/19 netinstall as well as the current amd64 cd1. Both hang as reported. My motherboard is asus m4a78 pro, my hard drive is sata as is my dvdrw, I have tried a supposed workaround involving attaching at least one pata drive before attempting an install, however this does nothing to fix the problem. Until this is fixed, I am forced to run lenny, which installs without any problems. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
