Package: iceweasel Version: 3.0.9-1 As a result of another unrelated bug, when I use Alt-F7 to switch from text mode back to X, the F7 key is passed through to firefox, which activates the caret browsing feature.
Each time this key is pressed a box is displayed asking if you wish to turn caret browsing on. This dialog has a 'do not show this box again' checkbox, however if I tick the checkbox then click 'no' to not turn caret browsing on, and press F7 again the dialog is shown again. The only way to make the dialog box not appear, is to click the checkbox and then enable caret browsing. This then means all future F7 keypresses will silently enable caret browsing, with no indication to the user. I consider this a bug, as the indicated function of not showing the dialog box, is ignored. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
