Package: util-linux
Version: 2.16-3
Severity: normal

After a hard shutdown (reset) automatic checking of the root file system
fails:

Checking root file system...fsck from util-linux-ng 2.16

/dev/sda2: Superblock last mount time is in the future
/dev/sda2: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY: Run fsck MANUALLY:
(i.e. without -a or -p options)
fsck died with exit status 4
failed (code 4)
[...]

This bug is maybe should be allocated to initscripts:

bug #387861
hwclock.sh should run before checkroot.sh (breaks fsck)

which was resolved in January 2008.

FYI: I did choose not to convert to dependency based boot when insserv
was installed.
$ dpkg-reconfigure insserv
info: Checking if it is safe to convert to dependency based boot.
Answering NO here!
error: Problems running insserv:
insserv: script cupsys: service cups already provided!
warning: It is not safe to convert to dependency based boot.

initscripts 2.87dsf-2

Installed: unstable on amd64 as of Aug 2009.
