It his unfortunate that doorstop architectures do not support well the
hardening features, I still believe it would be better to enable them
system-wide where possible like Ubuntu does than using hacks like
hardening-wrapper.
I refuse to divert cc and ld on my system in favour of a perl wrapper
(why not use a custom specs file?).
