Package: g15daemon Version: 1.9.5.3-5 Severity: important
Greetings, earthlings. I have a problem with current g15daemon, due to udev rules. I boot my system and g15daemon launches OK. My rc.local script launches g15stats afterwards, and it works. When I run mplayer, or openarena, somehow udev reacts as if the device (Z-10 USB speakers) was reconnected, and calls ACTION=add /etc/init.d/g15daemon udev (as per /etc/udev/rules.d/z60_g15daemon.rules) I see this in dmesg: input: G15 Extra Keys as /devices/virtual/input/input8 input: G15 Extra Keys as /devices/virtual/input/input9 input: G15 Extra Keys as /devices/virtual/input/input10 input: G15 Extra Keys as /devices/virtual/input/input11 ... (Each line happens after each g15daemon restart.) The problem is that g15stats loses connection to the actual display, since the g15daemon is connected to is replaced by a new one. But not only g15stats, the clock app also disappears from sight, and that app is managed directly by g15daemon. I've even managed to see a corrupted startup screen (G15 Daemon version 2). Hope that it helps.
