I think we are getting closer.
Could you please also send me a list of loaded modules before and after the 
upgrade.

There seems to be a different sysfs representation of your wlan interfaces.
So comparing the contents of /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:06.0/0000:30:00.0/
might help, too.

I assume you are running the same kernel for both tests?
